Sad.

I'm not sure how to go on.

Sniff.
Sob.
Sniffle.
Snot bugger.
Snot bugger.

Excuse me now as I mourn the death of my nearest friend through poetry.

Ode to my Vacuum

Dear friend,
I won't pretend
that I know how to clean without you.

You've always been there for me
blue, black and sucky you see.

That dirt was no match for you
you cleaned up well after this crew.
And now I don't know what to do
Oh boo.
Hoo.
Boo-Hoo.

So it is with a full heart
and a dirty living room
that I bid you adieu.

Oh
and to add insult to vacuumal injury
I'm having a really bad hair day.

....but I don't have a poem about that.

Hair oh hair
why you gotta be so unfair....

errrr...no.
No poem.

  3. Sonya,
I'm crying from laughing at your latest post. Such a sad loss. :) You are FUNNY! I found you from Colleen's blog just now. Can't wait to follow along with your journey. I also recognize the face of one of your adopted children. That's so cool when that happens, when we see the kids we've been looking at on RK or other shared lists find loving homes. Yay God!! Bless you!!!

  7. I'm so glad you are back to blogging!

I also recently had to replace my vaccuum and the first time I used it, it {almost} looked like we had new carpet... apparently previous said vaccuum hadn't been working for some time...

I think there are 2 things you should seriously consider when buying your new vaccuum:

    1 - retractable cord
    2 - no filter/bags {our new one we just dump and rinse, which I love!}

    Happy Vaccuum Shopping!

  9. Well, that sucks! Wait. No, it doesn't. That's the problem.

Dyson, Dyson, I love you you see.
Rounding up the dirt that's under my feet.

I appreciate those times you've run to my aid.
But the thing I love more than you Dyson?
    Our new maid!
