when you are small
have a low center of gravity
are
incredibly athletic,
fast as lightning
and can squat like nobody's biness.
Your coach will near tackle your parents after a few practices and ask if you can please play catcher.
Because he knows you are good.
But hey,
we already knew that.
Welcome to the club buddy.
Catcher, party of 2.
Congratulations! Well, sort of, because baseball actually scares me. I'm glad my boys do not play.
ReplyDeleteKa- ute! He is one happy catcher! Way to go Jacob!!
ReplyDeleteLove what you are doing on your side bar! Good job finding families!!
Yay for catchers! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have one of those too -- but a bit more feminine. ;-)
ReplyDeleteShaling loves to play softball & prefers to play the catching position. And, she is good at it for many of the reasons you listed. Mom loves it because Mom is a big baseball fan & Mom's favorite position is catcher. It is the most important position on the field.
Oh, he is sooooo cute! But don't tell him I said that, because it's definitely not sporty enough or manly enough and all that...(but he really is cute!!!).
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! At our house we are not short, don't squat well and take a minute to build up speed. Jackson plays outfield, but he can crank that ball out with his 6'2" boy/man body.
