Day 21
and
IT.
IS.
HERE!
I think we just found out the definition of "The Most Rapid Process".
It's means fast.
Wicked fast.
Oh. My. Guhracious
we are really going to China
and we just may reach him in time.
Praise. Him.
We do have a few hiccups to overcome before we can speed down the proverbial and literal adoption runway but nonetheless it will be wheels up soon.
When the AF moves you in the midst of an adoption it takes a bit for things to catch up from here to there and so on and so forth and such and such.
But nothing insurmountable
and nothing that will hold us back for long.
We are telling Jacob and Joey tonight
dun...Dun....DUN!!!
Now where on earth did I put that travel agent's phone number....
and someone please pass me a paper bag....I think I'm hyperventilating.

ReplyDeleteGreat news! I was wondering this morning if you would get it today. A lot of LOA's seem to come on Mondays. Do you have to go through the rest of the process? I800, NVC, and Article 5? Or can you go and get him, right NOW???
ReplyDeleteHooray!
ReplyDeleteAH! What in the world does ISC mean?! Something important, I just know it. AH! How soon do you think??? YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonder what kind of dynamite God used to move those powers that be? Ah well no matter it is great news.
ReplyDeleteWonderful news!
ReplyDeleteSonja, I don't know if you have had his file sent to Boston Childrens? We live about 90 min. from there and my two heart 'babies' are seen there. A friend of mine just came here from Seattle after Seattle Children's told them they thought their newly adopted son from China was inoperable. Boston said they could do the surgery and he was operated on and back home in less than two weeks. I was pretty stunned by the different opinions from the two hospitals. Just wanted to throw that out there...and maybe you have already sent his file to Boston. :)
ReplyDeleteWow!! Great news...can't wait to hear more.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have room on my couch. :)) Let me know if you are coming up here. The doctors in Boston are amazing--but I know it would be difficult to have surgery so far from home.
ReplyDeleteYES!!!! Rejoicing with you!!
ReplyDeleteJoshua's rescue is in full force!
Love you!
Tina
Praising God on the other side of the USA for you boy!!!
ReplyDeleteSonia, make sure you contact the USCIS officer and get them to approve waiving the lockbox. It will save you two weeks! Praise the LORD!
