How. On. Earth.

do we possibly go to China,
pick up our boys
and
then
just
go
home.

I. Have. No. Idea.

My heart is absolutely breaking by those that are left behind
and we haven't even gone yet.
I cannot fathom what this will feel like when we get there and see the kiddos still in the orphanage and still in their foster home that do not yet have a family.
How do we not go and love one more
and then one more
and then one more
......I've never in my life used any illicit drugs but I must assume that this is what that must feel like...
Just.
One.
More.
Just one more.....

Kiddos like him

and him

Two 6 year olds who are being advocated for by my friend Jean.
They need to have some heart issues addressed
and
they
need
a
family.

Or then there is this cutie

who is being advocated for by my friend Annie.
He is 5 and also has a heart related issue
and
needs
a
family.

These boys have all been waiting a long, loooonnnggg time for someone to ask for them...
to love them
to help to heal them
and
they
still
wait.

I have no idea where the Lord will lead us after we get Jacob and Joey home.
But I'm ready to do whatever He would have us do.

Because the fact that there are so many left behind....
is just sooooo not ok with me.

"for it is not hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified." Romans 2: 13

  1. this is my problem. my hands are so full, but my heart has room for so many. i feel like God has given me just a glimpse as to what breaks His heart-- so I can't even imagine how He feels for them.. it physically hurts, every. single. day.

  3. Thank you Sonia for spreading the word about these beautiful boys! They are desperate need of a family and medical care! Please anyone and everyone - please help them get a family!! Please spread the word!! Please pray for them!!

While in China we did not see other orphans. We saw children with families. We never got to visit the orphanages. So when we were there it was almost like they didn't exist. Once home, we coua family and Love is to an orphan. We could see the transformation in a child that was once an orphan.

It is once we are home that I cannot bear the pain of having left the others. That I hear God loud and clear go back and bring more home!

He whispers in my ear "bring home the children, bring home the children".

  8. yep.
we have been to all our children's swi's... and each time we walked out of the gates- the overwhelming feeling- that JUST.ONE.MORE. engulfed me. itissooverwhelming.yet necessary to spread the word- to do it again- to help someone else.
and as Emily stated "a glimpse of what breaks God's heart"-you will be forever changed. your view of being a co-heir with Christ will be so "real"(experience adoption first hand with children); life as you know it.. is about to be so rich. and so broken. and so full. and so longing for others. and so crazy. and so beautiful. and smelly. ;o) and good.
