An interruption....

We interrupt this adoption blog to bring you big, big family news.

This is Jordan.

Jordan loves baseball.

Jordan's pretty good at baseball.(He has a pretty good coach.) ;)

I'm Jordan's mom and the coach's wife so I can say that.

Jordan is 12 years 2 months, 2 weeks and 6 days old.

Jordan hit his first over the fence home run tonight.

It was a precious moment.

I captured it all on film and video.

Here are the pictures.

Here is the video.

-sigh- In case you are new to my sarcasm there is nothing there. :( No film. No nuthin but the memories in our heads. I may start saving my pennies to get a Flip video camera for moments such as these. Pocket sized, easily transportable, able to film while eating mounds of processed cheese and chips in the form of nachos at the ballpark. Yep. Gotta get me some of that.

What a night!!

I don't think that ball is coming out of his hand anytime soon. Gracious I love this boy!

*UPDATE* The following is Jordan's account of the evening:

"i felt the ball hit the bat and i thought it didn't go over.i stopped at second base and looked at the umpire and he was doing the home run signal.so i put my hands up and started smiling. and after my team slapped me on my helmet i sat down and i was shaking with excitement."
